DPTE – the blog!

Dynamic Process Tracing Environment User Discussion

Tell us what you’re doing!

We’d love to know how you are using DPTE. Not only would we love to know, but we’d like to tell our funders about the exciting work going on. So if you are running a DPTE study now, or have completed one, or are PLANNING one, please reply to this post with some description of what you are doing. You can write as little or as much as you’d like. We’d just like to get a sense of the ways in which people are making use of DPTE. THANKS in advance!

Hi all, Doug Pierce from Rutgers University here. I’m working with Dave Redlawsk on a few projects with DPTE. One is on blog posts and the trustworthiness of the source–I think we may just use DPTE to deliver the stimuli, as opposed to using a dynamic process. A future project is on information sharing. More details to come…

Angel Saavedra, at UT-Pan American. I am working on trying to replicate the mass-media and social-media campaigns in the 2012 Mexican Election. It is really heating up and the new restrictions on campaign spending and access to mass media has made “social” campaigning a major player in this election (despite only about 1/3 having consistent internet access).
